'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood' won't be shown on many PBS channels starting Monday
Fans are upset, but the show's declining ratings and stations' desire for new programming win out http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-mr-rogers-01-sep01,0,1490322.story

I understand ratings but I think it is really SAD that they are removing his shows.

I never watched that show, even when I was a kid. Well, maybe if I wanted to take a nap or something. It's about time, considering the guy has been dead for a while now.
