Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama, will be in the Fort Wayne area Wednesday.

She will host a community event in the area, according to a written statement from the campaign.

Yea fancy that, the republican ticket having to spend time in Indiana, which should be a lock. Indiana is up for grabs so Palin is spending time in Indy instead of Virginia, Ohio, Pa, or Fl. I am glad to see her here, it means we have done our job.

Triplett, 39, is an Air Force veteran and single mother who’s never voted for a Democrat for president. But Barack Obama’s appeal is so great that she’s making the switch.
