Seriously, please tell me how you found this? I tried to make it through the whole thing...

I've seen this girl/guy before. He has a bunch of videos on you tube where he does basically the same thing. Piss and moan and cry.

I find it peculiar that people want to control tax revenue over and above their paid in amount. IMHO, once taxes are paid, it's not YOUR wealth, it's tax revenue governed by publicly elected representatives. Still, the comments like "spread the wealth around" are perceived as serving only the poor, and not the entire community.

Apparent contradictions in expectations, like this, are simply fascinating to me.

ok... so Obama is getting flak because he makes a comment, "spread the wealth around".... meanwhile we just bought non controlling and non voting shares in banks to the tune of $250 billion.

Where's the socialism here?

"spread the wealth around" has nothing to do with socialism but stating a simply fact that under an Obama administration the middle class is going to get a few breaks instead of just the aristocratic class of this country. Trickle down is nothing more than a rich man's sexual game of pissing on the little guy.

LTRT, seriously, how is the US taxpayer buying these banks not socialism? It's the nationalization of business, funded by taxpayers. They should be paying our freaking mortgages instead of buying banks...

While I object to the gov't owning any stake in private companies and rather than ramble on about the Fed's latest move because we've shared our opinions extensively already on this bailout, I will say that shoring up our financial industry is a much more important aspect to be tackling at the present time, they say it's a temporary move, hope the plan works.

Well, I agree that it's important, what I dont agree with is that the taxpayers are On the hook to bail these companies out when they fail, but we arent in line to get any of their profits when they succeed... sure there might be such a thing as taxpayer equity, but I'm sure that will be spent through congress... Tracy Warner's plan was the best plan... divide the $700B among the 50 million mortages and make a $14,000 payment on each... then the taxpayer doesnt gain equity in some company they will never see profit from, but rather they gain equity in their home... the banks get the money immediately, and a guy with a $2000 mortgage has an extra $2000 for the next 7 mos that they can spend...
