Pecan chicken at the Oyster Bar
I usually have a fish dish when I go to the OB (never oysters ... ewwww) ... Friday night I had the pecan chicken over the andouie (sp???) sausage stuffing with the brocoli ...omfg it was good. I think I about busted a nut sittin' right there eating. I hope that was not too vulgar for the new board ... I might be banned already.
Seriously ... try the pecan chicken at the Oyster Bar folks.
Anyone want to go some night?

Sure, I may be up for it and I 'll see if I can talk loaner into joing too. Do they have ceviche there? Does anyone know where you can even get ceviche in this town? Sometimes I really miss Southern California.

Re: Timeline In Foods
I didn't know what ceviche is, so I checked it out. I'll have to check some restaurants in the Toronto area for it.
I am a big fan of seafood.
Tomorrow is all you can eat sushi/sashimi for me and about four other people..

Vis you said So. Cal.
Hey Vis So. Cal. ? what part?
I spent 15 in Laguna Beach and 10 up and down the coast and the desert
I Love so. cal. but it's unreal prices anymore, its cheaper in Hi.
I bought an acre there real close to the ocean about 22 years or so ago
Now I kick myself for not buying two!
Still go back most every year I have family in So. Cal. I love that place so much to see and do and the food is so fresh , even more so in Hawaii,
the food grows all year no stop to the growing seasons there! Most of us are moving to Hi. in the near future at least for me it will be when I retire.

Cool Mort,
Grew up in Santa Clarita Valley but spent most of my adult years in Long Beach. I worked in Costa Mesa and Laguna Hills so I'm very familiar with Laguna. I loved Newport and I waited tables at Cafe Lido on Lido Island. I spent most of my time from Santa Barabara south to San Diego but I did spend some time in Palm Desert.
