Downtown Pizza & Ice Cream

I tried their pizza over the weekend and wasn't disappointed. One of the best pizzas I've had in Fort Wayne! I got their "Roadkill Animal" which is essentially a Meat Lover's. They put on a heaping of cheese, not the skimping that other 'name' places seem to give you.

Shoot... now I have to send goons to kill you, since you have discovered to downtown secrets... yea, they rock...

Gonna have to try this too!

The Grinder - AWESOME but way too big
Bread Sticks - OUTSTANDING
Cheesecake - won't get again

all in all, it was pretty damn good!!

That's funny...I had it again tonight. Only reaffirmed what I said before...BEST pizza in Fort Wayne!!!

We went there a couple of weeks ago for some ice cream. After requesting four choices and being told "we're all out of ...", I settled for a couple of flavors I rarely get. It was worth the value and I didn't spill a drop. Our next visit will be for pizza.

I can't seem to place where this is, anyone give me an idea? Sounds like something I could get my hubby to try...

Okay, with all the rave reviews, I had to try it. Went there with the wife last night and ordered a pizza. And yes it was very good. What really surprised me is that I was stuffed after two slices. Great value.

Well, patience wore off and we went down tonight for their pizza. It's pretty good, but we will probably frequent Toscani's over this place. You ever been there Cincy?

Oh yeah, I have been there one time come to think of it. And yes, it was very good, but I'll still stick with Downtown Pizza as MY favorite...

We ended up going to Granite City instead. Pizza probably would have been better. At least Star Trek was good!

I agree, I think GC is too overpriced. The $17 salad was my first red flag, it was all downhill after that.

I agree, I think GC is too overpriced. The $17 salad was my first red flag, it was all downhill after that.

We went a year ago with friends and enjoyed ourselves. A bit overpriced but enjoyed the food and friends. This time around, the food was unexciting and the barkeep did a lousy job with my drink (which I had 3x when we were there originally). We won't be going back.

Good pizza & Good price

Stopped by tonight for a quick ice cream cone. Had a double with a scoop of lemon custard and a scoop of strawberry. Pretty tasty and damn cheap for a good ice cream! Can't wait to go try the pizza.
