Rahm Emanuel
Not that this has implications on any of us (unless someone living here is a Chicago resident). To me it is pretty straight forward city law. Must live within the city limits for 1 year. Been in Washington since last October (October, November, December, January) that is only 4 months. Sorry Rahm.

Re: Rahm Emanuel
A baloney sandwich and a bag of chips says he'll be on the ballot and will be Chicago's new thug in charge.
BHO to the rescue.

Re: Rahm Emanuel
It bother me that this is in it's 3rd if not fourth round of appeal... as if there aren't better things for Illinois to spend money on.

Re: Rahm Emanuel
Well it looks like he weasel his way onto the ballot.
The state Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Emanuel's favor, saying an appeals court decision that said the candidate needed to be physically present in Chicago was "without any foundation in Illinois law."
Hello, justices it was a city law not a state law..... I guess the residents of Chicago or any city in Illinois can ignore all the cities law if it isn't a state law also. Someone with money and time could have fun, now since a precedent has been set for not following local laws.
When he learned of the ruling, Emanuel said he immediately called his wife and took a congratulatory call from his old boss, President Barack Obama.
Wonder how many justices he also called?

Or look at it this way Obama created another job. Mission Accomplished; now back to spending other people's money.

For the record, I think that counts as a job saved, rather than created.
