It would be kind of unfortunate if they were singing "The sun will come out tomorrow..."

Speaking of which, one of the best Johnny Carson moments ever is when he had a little girl dressed as Annie come out on stage and after singing that line, he gave her a pie in the face and said "Not for you kid!".

At least it was 'that' Annie, and not the one from "Annie Get Your Gun." Well, maybe little miss sure shot would've hit the guy between the eyes then...

So, Meta, the guy was a radical. Why is it we feel the need to use this example to reinforce stereotypes? I mention that there is nothing I have heard to suggest that the guy was a radical Christian and all I get is "he is just saying in general" types of responses. I could point to this story and say white people are responsible for more deaths than any other group. Would that be fair?

and she got her 15 minutes of fame by telling her side of the story..not to defend the guy but i would suspect the story may have looked different to anyone else who may have overheard it, or from the guy himself. after all she says he told her the fact that the bible contradicts itself...he ALMOST became angry...hard telling what really took place in this discussion she is spinning. articles said he hated that this church was accomodating of homosexuals among other things.

Do you have anything to contradict her story? Or are you just going to dismiss it and assume she wanted 15 minutes of fame?
