McCain and the Draft

So what is his actual stance on this, he said yesterday he supported instituting a draft, in June he said a "fair" draft and now his campaign staff is saying he does not support a draft. lol McCain is going to beat himself, Obama just needs to get to November.

i heard this discussed on npr wednesday. they said he had been asked months ago how he expects to maintain a military presence to do all he says, without instituting the draft. mccain told the questioner he agreed with what she said. then they said he referred to it 2 other times-- mentioned the possibility of needing to resort to drafting. i agree mccain is beating himself!

I support the draft. It will lead to mass demonstrations and more intense anti-war efforts. I'd like to see some large scale riots.
