I can live with it, although the cinic in me thinks that my hospital bills will now go up at Parkview b/c of it.

Yea, I dont think it's bad... I'm pretty sure Parkview farts $3 million when the wind blows so I dont see much of an impact on bills... "Prakview Field" has a pretty good ring to it.

Guessing someone will not like this name of the field, someone called Darkview one time. LOL

I overheard a woman yesterday saying that Parkview is Non Profit, so they have money that they have to use, so they bought the naming rights to the field. (not that I think that is why, just interesting to hear why someone thinks they did it.)

Being that I grew up here it sounds kinda gay... personally, I would have rather had the Pink Taco Field. But I don't like the project in general, so I wouldn't have been too thrilled about any name. Maybe Buckeye's Suck Memorial Stadium.. that I could get behind.

Nah man, it's a full blown hospital chain... There's Parkview Behavioral Health, that may be what you are thinking of. There's a parkview hospital on what used to be the north cide of town (now only slightly north of Central), and there is Parkview North that is on the far north side of town.

Disgusting? Is that really the right word here? Parkiview employs almost 6000 people, so if they split it evenly, they would get $550 more a year. If your goal is to spend $3 million lowering costs, what exactly do you, um, buy? Markwes made the best point, they are really being a good corporate citizen here when they really have no obligation to do so.

Parkview drops a lot of cash into this community.. they are known as Darkview by many many many employees there, but the company as a whole supports FW.

They're a hospital, so there will always be assholes like Dope who get mad at them because they aren't perfect, but that's why they PRACTICE medicine.
