Joe Biden's denunciation of his own campaign's ad to Katie Couric got so much attention last night that another odd note in the interview slipped by.

He was speaking about the role of the White House in a financial crisis.

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed," Biden told Couric. "He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

So was he talking about FDR when he was Governor during the 1929 stock market crash.. or 3 years later when he took office?

Do we even need to discuss the timeline of when TV's were commercially sold?

Has Biden said anything remotely intelligent since being named VP?

I imagine that he misspoke but he is certainly very clear distinguishing dirty vs clean when addressing China. I wonder how this is going to play in PA.?

i saw that stuff on the news...and i thought

considering he is out there almost every day campaigning and ...ya know....Talking to people and answering questions and chatting with the media even if he gives some gaffes...at least he is out there and accessable! shall we count the gaffes by him and by sarah? keeping in mind she isnt allowed/TRUSTED to talk except to give her reviseions of acceptance speech!

Yeah, Bman's not neutral at all (at least it doesn't appear that way). I will readily admit that both candidate's sh*t stinks at times.

I'm not outraged. I just think it's kind of funny. Some of the GOP's gaffes are funny too, but I'm pretty sure you have them covered ad nauseum.

So does that make him 9/10's of a person? Just saying... if half of him only counts as three fifths of half a white person... I think that ends up being 1/2 + (3/5 * 1/2), or 9/10's.

Naw, I think what it means is at the innauguration/coronation, half his hand will be on the bible and the other half on the koran...(just kidding!)

I just find it amusing that the party who is so up in arms about when McCain misspeaks can now write it off to "well, he's out there talking alot, he'll make mistakes" when talking about Biden. Nevermind that he seems to be misspeaking more than anything.

Maybe Biden should take a cue from Palin and just not say anything, at least that way he can't continue to sound like he knows nothing of what BO is running on.

At an event at Union Station today where Vice President Joe Biden was heralding the $1.3 billion in investments in rebuilding train stations and passenger rails, a microphone picked up one of the former senator's myriad Senate colleagues addressing him, formally, as "Mr. Vice President."

That met with Vice President Biden's standard reply.

"Gimme a f*&$#ing break," he said, apparently unaware that the microphone was on.

Reports that Joe Biden used the "F" word in a off camera conversation with a colleague at the AmTrak event yesterday. BFD. Is this really news? I am personally surprised Joe and Obama don't use it more often when the see the f*&$#ing mess that was left for them by the last eight years of horror.
