I would say that this was a case of an extremely avarice person. pig

Too big of a house, new cars, latest of everything, showoff, all on credit!
Hardly any savings probably you should be able to survive at least a year on your savings. There are many out there, I think we will see more of this as in the great depression my Grandfather used to tell me stories about how he was a millionaire one day and the next he had nothing

I will go out on a limb here and say nobody on this board has enough money in "savings" to live 1 year. Mortgage, car payments, insurance, bills, weekly purchases, etc. If you're talking 401k or other retirement accounts that can be accessed, then maybe.

A very quick calculation, keeping things pretty cheap on the weekly purchases category puts me at $22,000 of savings I should have to live 1 year. I don't have it.
