Steven's case thrown out...

Stevens is the Alaska congressman that was indicted for taking kickbacks from construction companies etc... the prosecutors apparently withheld evidence and Eric Holder dropped the case... Lucky break for the guy eh?

Basically the federal prosecutor didn't do his job. I wonder if it was one of those prosecutors GWB wanted to fire that the dems made a stink about.

I didn't realize that the guy had already Been convicted... and holder vacated his conviction... That's like waking up in the morning and realizing it was all just a dream....

i think holder made the right call on this. there was definately evidence withheld, it was acknowledged during the trial. good for holder--wrong is wrong no matter who commits the act.
