Favorite Christmas Cookies/Treats

My mom just sent me over some of her delicious Christmas goodies. Made me start thinking what kind of goodies everyone else enjoys this time of year. So what are your favorites?

Mine-Spritz, soft sugar cookies with that frosting that's kinda hard but still a bit soft (i know that probably makes no sense), and these homemade Peppermint Patties. The PPs are so freaking good, especially right out of the fridge. And I *was* hoping to hold off the holiday 10 this year. I'm also a huge sucker for DeBrand or Russell Stover boxed Chocolates. Stupid freaking Roman Nougats!

I dig the spritz cookies myself... it's been years since we've had some. We used to make batches and batches of there every year before christmas.

Haystacks. My mom makes the best ones year in and year out. In case anyone doesn't know, they're chow-mein noodles covered in melted butterscotch chips.

Pretty much any and all cookies, candies that do not have raisins or white choco in them.

Pennsylvania Dutch eggnog. It's pre-spiked.

About the eggnog? Glad you liked it. Got my family hooked on it also. I should ask for a commission.

Awww, thanks! My kids are both in school and it's kept me hopping. But I'm still baking, mwahahahahahaha! I think I've even got food porn I could post somewhere...

Awesome, great to hear from you... anything that uses the words 'food' and 'porn' needs to be posted somewhere. It is the internet, after all :-)
