Hilary Clinton joins Obama's bid to crush McCain comeback hopes

CHICAGO (AFP) - Barack Obama aims to put another dent in John McCain's comeback hopes on Monday, with a double-bill rally in Florida with ex-foe Hillary Clinton that will kick off a frenetic final fortnight in the White House race.

Obama's new offensive follows a quickfire combination of blows to Republican McCain over the weekend including a key endorsement from Colin Powell and the announcement of a stunning 150 million dollar fundraising haul last month.
