Take Election Day Off
Could someone explain to me how this would be good for the economy? Since when does an employer pay you to volunteer for a political campaign, you wouldn't get paid so you would be forced to take personal time. I don't know, but it sure seems to me that if say even 25 million people take the day off, it wouldn't be a good thing.

I don't see a problem with it. People take the day off for things like the Monday after the Super Bowl, Black Friday, etc... How is this any different?
