I Wii'd for the first time

Well I finally played Wii for the first time this weekend. That thing is great! Some friends brought it over (so it's not staying ). I bowled, played baseball, golfed, and played Mario Kart. I really liked the controllers and how they are wireless and react to what you do. I had so much fun golfing that I went out and bought a golfing game for my PS2. It's alright, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it (bought it used at McVan's).

Way to keep it on "recession street" Cincy! AKA "how I buy most of the vid games" buy used, it's the same game but way cheaper than retail. I had a relatively uneventful weekend.

I'm starting to dislike the control setup... it's difficult for some more "standard" type games like madden...

Does anyone else have Mario Kart on the Wii? I'd love to kick some arse online with ya'.

I think we will get it soon.... I've heard it's a hoot, but it's no Gran Tourismo...

Very true. It's not very realistic, meaning it has monkeys and princesses and plumbers named Mario and Luigi driving the go carts shooting magical turtle shells at each other. But its really fun. The best part is that I can sit in my house and play against a couple of my buddies from Indianapolis until 1:00 in the morning (see last night).
