Billy Bob Thornton Interview

What is it about celebrities doing awkward interviews these days? In the latest chapter of a celebrity basically saying "I'm an ass", Thornton repeatedly gave vague answers and blasted the host of the show. One example - when the host Jian Ghomeshi suggested Billy Bob is passionate about music, he asked "Would you say that to Tom Petty?".

He has an ego larger than is sustainable by his meager frame.

I watched it again and caught the last 3 min. I'm not surprised he didn't play. Looked to me like the band members were miffed by his tantrum.

I love him (as an actor) take away acting and he is one WEIRD/STRANGE ASS individual.. I saw an interview yrs ago where he explained one (OF MANY) of his phobias.. he has a fear of antique furniture (WTF???!??? What? How? You just ain't right there dude, is what I was saying while watching him)

I agree. He was great in Bad News Bears and Bad Santa, the uncut version is funny as hell. The wife hates it when I watch it, but it's a once a year must for me during the Holidays.

Monster's Ball is a good non-comedy that he did along with Halle Berry and Heath Ledger. Definitely not one to watch with the kids though!

Billy Bob Thornton's band has scrapped the rest of its Canadian tour dates after the actor caused a stir by likening Canuck fans to mashed potatoes with no gravy.

I had no idea BillyBob played music.

Supposedly the guy wasn't supposed to refer or ask questions about his acting career.

Not sure if this is true, but I heard an update that he was ticked because he couldn't smoke outside of the building. Not that it would make him any less of an ass.
