Discovery Channel Shows Empty Discovery Channel Shows

Post  Scooby01_98 Wed Aug 25, 2010 9:42 am

I have been watching a couple of reality shows on Discovery that are just something I wouldn't expect on the channel. The first one is Colony. Set in St Bernard parrish. Supposedly set after some major catastrophe and they have to survive.

The other one is swamp people. Set in they bayous of Louisiana. Following a bunch of Cajun's around the swamps. The first show premiered this week going on a gator hunt.

Anyone else watching these?

I want to see this new one coming out... here is a LINK. I like quite a few of the shows they air, haven't been able to get interested in The Colony yet.

I've been watching Pawn Stars and American Pickers. The latter is kinda fun, Pawn Stars is pretty awesome, I just cant actually stop watching it.

I like both of those shows. In a way I feel the people are being taken advantage of, expert comes in on pawn stars and goes yep $10K then sell it for $5K. I think every time come on people....E-bay!!!

Regarding Pawn Stars, I see TRU TV came out with a show called Hardcore Pawn. Come on, it's not enough you have to steal the idea of a show about a pawn shop, but you also have to do the play on words of "porn"?

Don't watch reality shows, sorry.

But, I make a liar out of myself already. Hub watches American Idol, and I watch during the boring parts of my book.
