That's because you're not wearing the right glasses cincy. He is under the "other" category.
Who the heck is Chuck Baldwin anyhow?

(I really wasn't going to vote for him, but I did vote for one of the main candidates. )

Careful now Cincy, don't step in your broken glasses...LOL.
I've never heard of this guy before.

Markwes mentioned him in one of his responses to Bman a couple of weeks ago. I thought he was 'just another Baldwin brother.' Boy was I wrong!Canuck wrote:Careful now Cincy, don't step in your broken glasses...LOL.

Maybe it was one of their "getting along" posts. That's why I didn't see it. Or I deliberately blocked it out.

Yep, the only one listed besides the 2 biggies was Barr, the Libertarian. Interesting that Ron Paul gave Baldwin his endorsement.Cincy Fan 44 wrote:I didn't see Chuck Baldwin on my ballot.

Re: So...who did YOU vote for?
I voted at about Noon and it took about 25-30 minutes. There were 4 voting stations and about 40 people in line.
Old people smell funny. It's kind of funny they don't find showers too terribly important when they reach that age. One of the poll workers (she had to be over 65) told another guy to get in line behind "that kid" pointing to me.

Well at least she didn't refer to you as "That One."meta4 wrote:One of the poll workers (she had to be over 65) told another guy to get in line behind "that kid" pointing to me.

I didn't make it to the polls until 6:45, and was absolutely shocked to find NO LINE. Wow. I figured that getting out of the office that late would cost me at least an hour of waiting.

The Poll at the Urban League where I was overseeing at times had over a three hour wait.

Re: So...who did YOU vote for?
BTW, I had a pretty crappy poll experience. I guess in order to tell the story, I should note I was one of the two here that voted for "other" (though I don't think that would surprise anyone). But I simply asked how to perform a write-in on the electronic machines - mostly to confirm what I figured to be the case - that I would just type in the name. However, this lady starts going crazy and looking over manuals and saying that it will print out a sheet of paper that I need to write on. She then says I should have told her before I let her enter my township into the computer. So anyway, it's not as if nobody's noticing this lady going through hysterics about write-in voting and I am just about ready to go about things myself when another lady comes over and tells me it's easy (and just as I thought in the first place). Aren't they supposed to be educated on most issues concerning these voting booths? I mean, write-ins aren't too common, I admit, but certainly they should have been able to guess that some punk was going to try it. Sheesh, talk about disenfranchising the third-party voters.
Anyway congrats to the Obama supporters; I am certainly hopeful that we'll have some, IMHO, better foreign policy and international respect.
