Qdoba opens today

Ok, you've all heard me talk about my son's allergies. I was hoping that we would have the same luck with Qdoba that we've had at Chipotle. After looking over their allergan menu, there's no way it'll work.

Thumbs way down for Qdoba for milk being an ingredient in all but one of their protiens that could have worked for us(eggs is a no go as well, he's allergic to that as well). I would like to try it sometime, but it'll have to be a day I don't have the kids with me. And that's pretty much never. Bummer.

I've eaten at Q'doba (sp) several times while in Ann Arbor. I know where the new place is going in, so I'll definitely check the local one out. If you've never eaten there, it's like Chipotle or Moe's ameri-mexican.

I stopped today and got the mesquite bbq burrito with pork. I forget the "fancy" name for what I got, but it's good. It's the one that has the slightly sweet mesquite bbq sauce. I love pork.

We will be out that way shopping this weekend, maybe we'll give it a try for lunch.

Pig is definitely my favorite animal...to eat.

Ok, so a few days was all I had to wait I thought it'd be months before I got to try it. My mom and I went for lunch today. We split a steak taco salad and a bowl of tortilla soup. The soup was very good and the salad was pretty tasty. Salad could have used a bit more steak(perhaps my mom got more of the meat), but was one of the better taco salads I've had.

I would have loved a brownie, but didn't try one. They looked fairly big and chocolately.
