Great tennis this week... ESPN has the full coverage... At the very least you can watch and think of the coming summer...

I may have to check it out. If it weren't for you, I don't think this board would have a Tennis Enthusiast Representative!

I'm a tennis buff but didn't think anyone else was... I'm in a game but all my women except Serena are out... I think I still have 4 men.. I had some great picks I thought but they early round loses are killing me.

My hub is a tennis buff, so I am one by osmosis.

thought Serena was going to lose yesterday until her opponent became ill.

I was sorry Blake lost. Again.

I'm bummed about blake too... vast amounts of talent, but just hasnt put it together... I cant remember the last time he beat a top 5...

I DVR'd the Roddick Djokovic match last night because I fell asleep while they were still on serve.... I heard Djokovic retired in the 4th... maybe glad I didnt stay up for it... Considering it didnt start until 11:30 pm it was a little difficult.

Federer's scare on monday was cool to watch... I've been harping on this board for years that there are two classes of tennis fans, those that have seen Roger Federer play, and those that havent.

I saw Federer play live four or so years back in the Masters' Cup when it was held in Houston -- he beat Agassi. I got to see Agassi play Sampras in the US Clay Court Men's Championshp -- Agassi lost, but I was definitely cheering him on. And Agassi beat Roddick in another year.

I am very lucky these events even came to Houston. They were probably not the worth the $$$ to me, but they were to my hub.

I have been working mega-hours recently, and watched part of the Roddick/Djokovic match when I got home. (at least I'm on Central time, so it wasn't quite as late here.) In any case, I saw Roddick lose the tiebreaker in the first, win the second, and start the 3rd. He looked pretty good.

pardon for a moment while I Google......... Okay, you're right, Djokovic retired. I don't understand why they hold the Australian Cup this time of the year -- it's bloody hot there.

Close the frickin' roof, people! Did you all notice it was over 130 degrees on the court yesterday before they finally wised up and closed the roof? Methinks the Open needs to move the date to when it's not quite so hot.

Watched the last part of the Federer/Nadal match this AM -- wow. My husband watched the entire thing live. The time difference is really a killer with this tourney.
