Why can't my PSP read any games or save data?

Whenever I go to the game menu, it always says "There are no games" and same way to the save data utility (There are no save data). However, my photos, sounds, and videos are fine and can be played. I also connected it to the computer and whenever I open the iso folder and psp folder, its empty.
