Scary stuff...but come on, people have to be living under a rock if they don't know that it's just a liiiiittle unhealthy to go out to eat at a restaurant. Kind of like going to an Ohio State/Michigan game and being surprised that Michigan lost (again). tongue

I'm glad to see these kinds of stories coming out. These sit-down chains have gotten a free pass for years while fast food places are having very unflattering movies made about them or getting sued by idiots who blame everyone but themselves for their weight issues.

I was told once there is an easy way to eat out and diet without knowing caloric levels

When you eat out stick to green and grilled.
Nothing fried
Portions no larger than the palm of your hand
Avoid sauces/dips/spreads/gravy and take any on the side.
No bread.
Water.

The "rule of tongue" that was explained to me has been to eat for flavor, instead of eating until you get that "full" feeling. Also, eat slower, chew your food completely and savor it.... hold it in your mouth a little longer, there's no rush.

Oh yeah, and drink "light" beer. Smile
